1) Just when the decentralized Sequencer process such as Arbitrum and Optimism was stagnant, Metis jumped out to make a decentralized Sequencer. Metis has the courage to be a restless disruptor. It said that it would let layer 2 "put down its power", and it has done so. The decentralized Sequencer will be launched soon after multiple rounds of internal testing.

2) Although it seems that layer2 needs to use ETH as the gas token to be orthodox, and using independent tokens to pay for gas always feels a bit deviant, Metis was determined to make layer2 a huge decentralized economy from the beginning. A universal chain, only in this way can the native Token drive the layer2 ecology to truly flourish, instead of just enjoying the spillover effects of the main network and relying on airdrops and hair-raising parties to support the narrative and future.
